Tourists looking for a villa with a spectacular extra feature can book their stay at a “magical” French Airbnb that is like “something out of a dream,” according to tourists.
The short-term rental property has a major selling point: a river-shaped pool flows through the property.
The ‘Pool House’, located in Goult, a town in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region in southeastern France, has one king-size bedroom and one bathroom and can sleep up to two people.
According to the Airbnb listing, it’s owned by antique dealer Xavier, which is why there are so many antique treasures scattered around the interiors.

The property is filled with natural wood features and lush plants.
But it’s the stunning river-shaped pool that will undoubtedly surprise tourists the most: it runs around the property from an outdoor dining area and then through the house.
The pool flows through stone arches, past climbing plants and green flowers and even away from the feet of a relaxing sun lounger covered in cushions and blankets.
Xavier’s listing says: “Guests are invited to use the owner’s 12 meter swimming pool, which is shared with his three other rentals, set in his exclusive shaded, magical, enclosed and tranquil garden.”
The stay includes access to a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, crockery and cutlery, as well as a ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, blender and freezer.
Wi-Fi, a workspace, heating, air conditioning and an indoor fireplace are installed in the house, as well as a 40-inch TV with Chromecast.

Philip, from Denmark, added: ‘Xavier’s house is by far the most interesting place we have stayed.

“The Pool House, where we were staying, had a very cozy and organic feel and the outside area, with a semi-covered pool located under the house, felt like you were in a really cozy cave.”
For his part, Californian Ryan commented: ‘Xavier’s place is a five-star stay.
‘The beauty of the garden and the art of the rooms are not reflected in the photographs.

“It is a unique stay and comparable to a five-star resort.”
Rachel, from Nashville, said: ‘We couldn’t decide where to go for two nights on our way from Lyon to the south of France and when I saw the photos of Xavier’s house, I knew it was the place!
‘Goult is a very small and quiet town (many shops and restaurants close on certain days and at certain times of the day), but it was a lovely place (from which) to explore Provence and we enjoyed some of our best meals just a few Airbnb steps.
‘It rained all day on our only full day in Goult, but we still swam in the pool (which is completely covered and warm) and it was honestly the best rainy day we’ve ever had.
‘This place is like a fairy tale!’
The pool house requires a two-night minimum stay and costs from £187/$238 per night plus cleaning fee and Airbnb fees (airbnb.es). There are other properties within the same building so guests may have to share the pool and gardens.
